Which Do I Need?

5″ vs. 6″

Because we see more harsh weather today, most homes, commercial buildings, and metal roof buildings need 6″ gutter with 3″ x 4″ downspouts to successfully manage heavy rains. Approximately 30 linear feet of gutter per downspout is recommended, depending on the amount of roof surface flowing into the gutter.

5″ gutter with 2″ x 3″ downspouts can be used on smaller homes with low slope roofs. Because each situation is different, we encourage you to call us for a free estimate where we will consult with you and help you determine the best gutter system solution for you.
